MissionsMissions is a very large focus in our senior high ministry. We believe the Bible is very clear when it states that as believers we should be faithful in reaching out to the lost world around us. We have four trips available and they are differentiated by levels: 2012 Missions TripsLevel One: Alliance, Ohio (Freshman Trip) July 9-July 15Level Two: Sumter, S. Carolina (Sophomore Trip) June 25-July 3Level Three: Gallup, New Mexico (Junior Trip) June 25-July 3Level Four: Mascota, Mexico (Senior Trip) July 9-July 172012 Missions Training SessionsLevels 1, 2, and 3: Apr 22, Apr 29, May 6, and May 2712:15 - 2:30 pm in rooms 503, 504, 505, and 507Lunch is provided in room 504 at 12:15 pmEach trip builds on the one before it, with the intention of serving locally first and then branching out in service to other parts of the nation and cross-cultural experiences. Students are required to meet specific guidelines to participate in missions. If you are interested or have questions, don’t hesitate to contact us!
Fall Retreat – SeptemberEvery September, our senior high students take a three-day/two-night trip for our fall retreat. The retreat is a time of great challenges from God’s Word, as well as a time of tremendous fun. Games, off-the-wall activities, great food, and awesome times of interaction and fellowship all take place on the fall retreat! Winter Retreat – February If you like to ski, then this retreat is for you! Each winter we travel to a ski resort where students can ski, snow-board, tube, or just hang out at the lodge. We get away for the weekend, stay at a nice hotel, eat some great food, and just chill together. (Literally, at times, because everything is snow-covered and cold!)
Monthly EventsIn addition to our weekly meetings, we also have activities each month. We value fellowship and friendship, and these events help to promote both. Over the course of the year we have our annual Barn Razin’, Big Game Thing, REVO Christmas party, Lift-OFF, ice skating, roller skating, overnighters, guys-only events, and girls-only events. In addition we have paintball, video-games, swimming, football, basketball, house parties, challenges, and team building exercises! Check out our events calendar to see what's next.

Current StudyGuys: “Do Hard Things” by Alex and Brett Harris.A generation stands on the brink of a "rebelution." A growing movement of young people is rebelling against the low expectations of today's culture by choosing to "do hard things" for the glory of God. “Do Hard Things” gives readers a tangible glimpse of what is possible for teens who actively resist cultural lies that limit their potential. Combating the idea of adolescence as a vacation from responsibility, the authors weave together biblical insights, history, and modern examples to redefine the teen years as the launching pad of life.Girls: The Book of Luke.Do you know Jesus better now than a year ago? Why or why not? Picture sitting down at Starbucks (or in your room) with Jesus and Him sharing parts of His story and His passions with you. You’re getting to know Him better by opening His Word. Don’t just read words on a page. The time you spend with Him could change your life in a wonderful and dramatic way! Each day this semester we will be reading passages from the Book of Luke. Start this study by describing your relationship with Jesus and what He means to you. End your study the last week by describing your relationship with Jesus and what He means to you.
